The Peruvian Arts Society, is an institution that promotes culture by organizing educational
events in the area of Illinois. For that purpose the Peruvian Arts Society publishes every year its journal El
Chasqui. This periodical has been a source of information since 1963 for the many Peruvians who reside in the area
of Chicago, Illinois and the midwestern states.
